28.09 Ryder Cup junior:
USA vant overlegent, men Kristoffer
Reitan imponerte igjen
Singlene ble spilt tirsdag. Her vant Kristoffer Reitan sin match. Men resten av
laget klarte ikke å følge opp. Det ble 8,5 - 3,5 til USA singlene og hele
15,5 mot 8,5 totalt.

Reitan, who chipped in on the last hole to seal victory in style, echoed the
sentiments of his fellow Scandinavian.
He said: “It was a special end to a special week, so I’m really pleased. It was
a tough day, I didn’t play my best but I fought so hard and in the end it worked
out well. I holed a long putt from off the green on the 16th, then hit a great
iron shot into the 17th and chipped in on the last, so it was great to finish
strongly and it gives me a lot of confidence for the rest of the year.”

Reitan imponerte
Singlene spilles tirsdag.

"A day after celebrating her 17th birthday, Frida Kinhult won two matches out of
two – firstly in partnership with compatriot Beatrice Wallin in the morning
foursomes (5&3), before teaming up with Kristoffer Reitan in the mixed fourballs
to defeat Davis Shore and Hailee Cooper two up.
Kinhult and Reitan had been three down with five to play, but won each of the
last five holes with Reitan’s sumptuous eight-iron to four feet on the last hole
sealing a superb victory.
Reitan, who drove the green on the 340-yard par four tenth hole, said: “We gave
ourselves a lot of chances on the back nine, and when we started making some
putts the momentum just built. We were really pumped, it was an amazing
experience and I can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow.”

Starten var bra - vant det første hullet mandag morgen.
Kristoffer Reitan valgte bort VM for lag hvor Norge ble nr 5 sist lørdag i
Mexico. Han ville heller spille på Ryder Cup Junior på Europalaget.
Han startet i første match sammen med Marcus Svensson. De startet med å vinne
det første hullet.
